Educare 2

This 30,000 SF facility for non-profit Tulsa Educare provides early childhood education and care to low-income families.  Similar to the first Educare project completed by Kinslow, Keith & Todd, it includes a training center, 16 classrooms, a kitchen, a family support room and general office space.  The owner wanted to “make sure the building stood out and was different from anything else on the street.”  Kinslow, Keith & Todd accomplished this by designing a modern exterior juxtaposed with a welcoming feature that recalls the familiar shape of a traditional red school house.
