Hardesty Regional Library

Tulsa, OK

With a budget of $5 million, the 50,000 SF Hardesty Regional Library was the largest construction project since 1965 for the Tulsa City-County Library System.  In addition to the typical library functions, the facility consists of a children’s area, a teen area, a young adult area, a business center, computer labs, private reading/study rooms and a used book sales area. The library provides over 100 internet access stations, many reading lounges and automated book check-out counters.  It also holds two meeting rooms, two conference rooms and a 250-seat auditorium, which remain open after hours, thanks to the building’s design.
