September 4, 2024 3:50 pmThe facility is moving from its current downtown location to midtown and is expected to open in a little over a year after the groundbreaking, said CEO Suzann Stewart.
It will be located 2829 S. Sheridan Road East, and will share a campus with the Child Advocacy Network.
“This is a new paradigm shift in how we will be able to help victims of domestic abuse,” Stewart said.
The project involves a total cost of about $24 million for a 65,000-square-foot facility, and will bring additional investigators, attorneys, medical personnel, tribal services and case managers to local victims of domestic violence in Tulsa County. It also will feature a courtroom to host protective order hearings.
