What is your favorite type of project and why?

Non-Profits occupy a large portion of my heart. I come from a non-profit, arts background and love working for a local design firm that is so dedicated to the success of the community partnerships that make Tulsa such an amazing town.

What is your favorite thing about Tulsa?

I am a 3rd generation Tulsan. I love the philanthropy, community spirit, geography and weather. It’s a beautiful place to call home.

What do you find most rewarding in your career and working with your clients?

The collaboration and celebration of people. Whether that is in internal HR function or interfacing with our Clients and community. I believe the end result is better when we work together and focus on diverse, inclusive, equitable efforts.

Why KKT? What sets KKT apart from its competitors?

KKT has been my home for 18 years for two primary reasons – culture and people. The dedication of every employee to our core values and the way that manifests in every project we work on. We are a people-first company that truly believes in creating better experiences and spaces for our employees, our Clients, and the Tulsa-community at large.

How do you keep your skills up-to-date with the newest trends and best practices?

I am a member of SHRM and TAHRA. Both offer great resources for keeping up with continuing education, compliance, and HR trends. They also offer an exciting opportunity to develop your own network of professional cohorts.

Do you support any local charities? If so, which one(s)?

I am an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless. I’m also a member on the board for Harmony Project Tulsa and Legislative Chair for the Tulsa Chamber Mosaic.

Sang back-up for Barry Manilow at the BOK—what a night!

What is your definition of success?

People operating and thriving inside of their authentic strengths. Result-driven, servant-based leadership that promotes the well-being of the individual.

If you had a free afternoon to do anything, what would you do?

Singing with a choir brings me deep joy. Those moments of entitativity are hard to replicate in other social groups.
