Melissa is a passionate healthcare designer. Her portfolio includes emergency rooms, long-term pediatric facilities, cancer treatment centers, behavioral health facilities, and a variety of specialty clinics of all scopes and sizes. She employs evidence-based design to reduce stress for providers, patients, and their families. Melissa’s wealth of industry knowledge, strong work ethic, and incredible talent has earned the deep respect of her clients and colleagues.
Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Design, Housing and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University. She is on the Professional Advisory Board of the University of Arkansas where she is working on an initiative for a future healthcare design program for the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design. She attends the Healthcare Design Conference each year to share key findings, trends and take-aways with the KKT office and apply them for her clients. She is currently on track to becoming both EDAC and CHID certified.
