With the creation of the Boone Pickens Museum in the West End Zone, the existing University Store had to be relocated. This provided an opportunity to re-purpose the obsolete ticket booths on the north facade of the stadium. KKT worked with the University Store Management and Athletics Facilities staff to create a new store that opens onto Hall of Fame Avenue, the primary thoroughfare into campus and the center of game day activities.

With the addition of the new store, the University took this opportunity to refresh and expand the South Store, creating a cohesive retail experience in the Stadium where fans can purchase apparel and accessories before, during, and after a game.

The concrete floors and open ceilings give both spaces a modern and industrial look, that were not only budget-friendly, but also provide a blank canvas so that the merchandise is the focal point. The orange slatwall surrounding the perimeter of each space provides a “pop” of school spirit to promote the attire.
