A Tulsa staple at the historic Utica Square shopping center, Queenies spent years serving their delicious food out of a location that they had outgrown. This new location provides a larger kitchen and display space with an updated flexible dining area enhancing their ability to serve more customers faster. Our design team implemented better traffic flow for take-out orders; accessible restrooms and a back door/service entry; and provided a larger patio with fans and heaters for year-round eating.

One of the constraints of the new space was the low existing ceiling height, which lead to creating an open ceiling concept. The light, airy finishes are beautiful yet durable to handle the constant cleaning and high traffic loads. Overall, the design captures the warm, welcoming spirit of the original Queenies and provides an updated space with the same atmosphere customers loved.
