Riverwalk Crossing

Jenks, Oklahoma

KKT designed this outdoor mall to capture the draw of the Arkansas River. The outdoor plaza, performance stage and amphitheater, fire pits, water features, and seating areas wind along the river’s edge and provide a gathering space for the local community, transforming the west bank into a destination venue. Sandstone and stucco exteriors beckon pedestrians strolling along the paved outdoor walkways into the dining, recreational, retail, and business facilities housed there. It was built in two phases—the first, two curved buildings echoing the curve of the outdoor amphitheater, and the second expanding the site with a larger single building. Trail systems connect to the River Parks Trail and the Pedestrian Bridge just to the south of the 28 acre site.
