Seed Cannabis Co. is dedicated to overcoming stereotypes and psychological barriers to accessing legal marijuana for medicinal use. From concept to completion, this retail location was designed to educate clients and help them knowledgably and comfortably purchase the right products for their health.

Large windows frame both sides of the reception and waiting areas, flooding the entire store with natural light. Once the medical marijuana card is verified, a budtender escorts the client through the sales area. The left side educates clients about the history of medical marijuana and its primary applications—refresh, relief, relax, charge—through color-coded pillars which clients can easily refer to as they peruse products labeled with corresponding colors. The center of the sales floor features custom double-sided millwork display cases of the varieties of available buds, each color-coded to the four pillars in the educational area. And on the back wall, warm wood and glass custom shelving and counters display products at the point of sale.

Clients are enveloped in an open, encouraging environment through their entire experience. The well-lighted, modern industrial aesthetic with open ceilings and metal, wood, and concrete finishes promotes calmness.  The overall effect of the shop promotes wellness and knowledge of the product.
