The iconic University Club building gives residents an unparalleled view of the Arkansas River Valley and downtown Tulsa.  Built in 1967, the building was due for an update. KKT replaced the cage-like parking garage cladding for an elegant vertical fence, provided improved wayfinding throughout the garage, and designed a resort-worthy pool, cabana, and outdoor seating area. Common areas were renovated from the ground floor to the 32nd-floor elevator lobby. A functionally-obsolete swimming pool was filled in, and the space was transformed into a fitness facility with a children’s area and an enclosed space for fitness classes. A movie theater and community kitchen were renovated to provide gathering spaces for large events and gatherings. Additionally, each of the existing 231 units were completely updated: new finishes, fixtures, kitchens, bathrooms, and balconies. This complete renovation breathed new life into a property that is among Tulsa’s iconic real estate.
