Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges unveils new sports complexJanuary 24, 2019 7:58 pm
A new 37,000-square-foot facility that makes sports and recreational activities accessible for Tulsans with physical challenges was unveiled Wednesday.
The Hardesty Family Adaptive Sports Complex at the Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges is expected to open in early February, and it nearly doubles the size of the campus.
Funded by a $12 million capital campaign — with $11.5 million already raised — the sports complex lacks only “small nuances to make it more accessible,” board President Scott Beller said.
