Demolition clears way for new Family Safety Center in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — Demolition began Tuesday to clear the way for a new Family Safety Center (FSC) in Tulsa.

The demo will take out the final two buildings on the property near 31st and Sheridan.

The site was the former home of the Child Advocacy Network before it moved into its new, adjacent facility.

The current FSC is a 13,000 square-foot area beneath the Tulsa Police Department. This new location will be five times the size, allowing for services for up to 30,000 domestic and sexual assault survivors.
