Our design team was approached to reimagine the existing Dream Keepers Park as a celebration of Native American culture and festivities. The design involves evaluating the park holistically to introduce several new amenities and areas, aiming to commemorate its current usage and special occasions. A mile-long path with historical artifacts along the journey has been created, alongside a large gathering space for celebrations and festivals, monuments to native culture, and a proposal to close part of the street to provide areas for food trucks, service, and parking. There are suggested updates to public restrooms, as well as to the existing playground and recreation center. KKT is honored to support the Greater Tulsa Area Indian Affairs Commission and their goals to create a unique atmosphere that recognizes heritage and culture. The project is currently in the fundraising stage.
