Today, KKT Architects are leading a comprehensive renovation project, addressing both the interior and exterior, as well as all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with modern building codes. While historic renovation was considered, the focus remains on a contemporary overhaul.

The new design will feature a bank branch on the first floor, with offices occupying the second and third floors. Lyle Construction, formerly known as Stava, has made significant progress and is now approximately 75% through the construction phase.

The building, originally constructed in 1917, housed a hotel lobby and retail on the first floor and hotel on the second and third floors. While designed to accommodate additional floors, they were never completed.
